ABOUT LUXCITIZENSHIP & THE OPPORTUNITY

Founded in 2016, LuxCitizenship transforms heritage into opportunity by helping Americans with Luxembourgish ancestry reclaim their dual citizenship. With a 100% application success rate, we’ve guided over 2,100 clients through the citizenship process, representing 12.5% of all Luxembourg dual citizens in the United States.

Beyond citizenship services, we’ve built a thriving community connecting over 40,000 dual citizens across the Americas through exclusive events, business networking, and relocation consultations. As an LGBT-owned business and member of both the Luxembourg American and National Gay and Lesbian Chambers of Commerce, we proudly reinvest 22.7% of our gross income into cultural preservation and community initiatives.

Now, we’re expanding our impact with two new business lines addressing emerging needs in the global mobility landscape. We’re seeking a Marketing Manager to to help these projects build an audience and thrive.

THE ROLE

We’re hiring a Marketing Manager to lead content creation, social storytelling, and brand launches for these two new digital platforms. This is a unique opportunity to help define two purpose-driven brands from the ground up, working closely with the founder and leadership team.

You’ll own brand voice, lead social media execution, and help shape how our mission reaches a global audience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content & Social Media Strategy

  • Develop and manage a content calendar for pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases

  • Write engaging, high-quality copy across platforms: social, web, newsletter, blog

  • Build audiences on Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn—and possibly TikTok

  • Content creation and coordination with external stakeholders on content development

Brand Messaging & Identity

  • Shape public-facing messaging for both emerging brands

  • Ensure tone, clarity, and consistency across channels

  • Provide strategic feedback on user journeys and engagement funnels

Marketing Operations

  • Execute email marketing campaigns and maintain CRM hygiene

  • Monitor analytics and adjust strategies accordingly

  • Coordinate cross-functional projects with the founder and design/development partners

WHO YOU ARE

Must-Haves

  • 3–5 years in a marketing, content, or creative role

  • Experience launching or growing a new brand, preferably in digital-first spaces

  • Strong copywriting and/or design portfolio (ideally one or both)

  • Strategic thinker with executional follow-through

  • Familiar with platforms like Figma, Canva, Mailchimp, Notion, or similar

  • Based in or near New York City with ability to work 1–2 days/week in person at our office on 37th and 7th Ave

Nice-to-Haves

  • Personal connection to international living, expat life, or dual citizenship

  • Interest in global affairs, migration trends, or public-interest media

  • Multilingual or familiar with diverse global audiences

  • Background in journalism, digital media, or startup environments

You have experience in complex international environments and understand how to navigate different cultural and regulatory contexts. You are a systems thinker who can see both the big picture and the critical details needed for execution.

Most importantly, you are passionate about creating innovative solutions that help people navigate increasingly complex global systems. You understand the profound impact that citizenship and residency services can have on individuals and families, and you’re committed to building ethical, effective systems that serve diverse communities.
