Dos 634 respondentes, obtivemos informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre 80 antepassados luxemburgueses. Envergonhados ou ostracizados por suas comunidades, os que partiram em dire\u00e7\u00e3o ao Brasil, agora sem um tost\u00e3o, constru\u00edram uma nova comunidade no norte do Luxemburgo, primeiramente chamada de Nei-Brasilien e, por fim, Grevels. De acordo com o Departamento de Estado dos Estados Unidos da Am\u00e9rica, em 2020, Luxemburgo foi o quarto maior investidor estrangeiro direto no Brasil, com os Estados Unidos em segundo lugar. Todas as informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre os antepassados inclu\u00eddas neste estudo foram fornecidas pelos entrevistados e verificadas com base nos registros do Arquivo Nacional do Luxemburgo.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-56a70b7 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"56a70b7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Alguns dos antepassados pesquisados eram irm\u00e3os. Sendo assim, dos 80 antepassados luxemburgueses dos quais nossos entrevistados brasileiros descendem, somam-se 50 fam\u00edlias que atravessaram o mar. Os imigrantes luxemburgueses desses cant\u00f5es foram respons\u00e1veis por uma porcentagem muito baixa de imigra\u00e7\u00e3o para os Estados Unidos e a Argentina, tornando a imigra\u00e7\u00e3o dessa regi\u00e3o exclusiva ao Brasil.<\/p><p>A maioria desses antepassados nasceu entre 1820 e 1859 e participou da segunda onda de imigra\u00e7\u00e3o luxemburguesa em massa para o
